Today I interview Dave Lahkani, one of the nation's most recognized experts on applied persuasion, human influence and business growth strategies.

How much easier would your job be if your prospects instantly liked you, believed you and understood how you could help them?

Using simple persuasion tactics you can easily build rapport, trust and an emotional connection with your prospects, making it easier to increase sales.

Let me be clear, I’m not talking about manipulation or any type of trickery.

Just simple and subtle persuasion tactics you can use to make it easy for your prospects to trust and like you.

Dave was raised in a religious cult (more on that in the interview). Who better to learn about persuasion and human behavior than someone with real-life exposure to not-so-good persuasion?

persuasionBesides that, Dave has authored several books including “Persuasion: The Art of Getting What You Want” & “Subliminal Persuasion.” He’s shared his knowledge on stage to over 3 million people in 126 countries. Dave is an entrepreneur whose companies have recently made the Inc. 500 list.

His consulting clients include companies such as BodyBulding.com, Mortar Health Systems, GE, Procter & Gamble, IBM and more. He’s even been hired by the Country of Poland to help solve national problems.

It’s safe to say Dave know’s a thing or two about persuasion.

Today Dave will reveal persuasion secrets to help you develop deeper relationships with your customers and clients.

In today's podcast you discover:

How growing up in a religious cult helped Dave gain a more in-depth understanding of persuasion and human behavior.

How to correctly use persuasion tactics such as reciprocity, socialproof and storytelling to get prospects to connect with you, trust and like you.

The difference between manipulation and persuasion and how to overcome people’s fear of being manipulated.

How to build a trustworthy persona and personality that doesn’t immediately turn people off.

Subtle persuasion tricks that subconsciously trigger trust in the people you talk to.

I interview Justin Christianson of Conversion Fanatics and we’re going to be talking about why more traffic isn’t always the best way to increase your leads, appointments and sales. In fact, using conversion optimization, you can squeeze more money out of your existing traffic and easily increase the ROI on every marketing dollar you spend.

Have you ever felt like you’re stuck on an island?

Have you ever felt “disconnected” from your clients, employees, your spouse or maybe you’re so busy working that you’ve lost your sense of purpose and passion?

Last year I remember hearing the lyrics from Simon and Garfunkel song…

“Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.
I am a rock,
I am an island.”
I've built walls,
A fortress deep and mighty,
That none may penetrate.
I have no need of friendship; friendship causes pain.
It's laughter and it's loving I disdain.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

The phrase “Hiding in my room, safe within my womb” really struck me...

Yeah, sure I run a digital marketing company without any “physical” office building or large staff, but working from home can get a bit mundane at times.

When going to the store to pick up some milk becomes the “highlight” of my day, that’s when I realized it was time to get more connected to other like-minded people.

Something in my gut was telling me to move back to the West coast and get more involved in live events and masterminds to reconnect with other like-minded entrepreneurs and expand my rolodex.

Since I created my intention to attract more like-minded and purpose-driven people earlier this year, I’ve had the good fortune and privilege to meet some incredibly inspiring people.

Recently I was invited to be a part of a mind-blowing group of movers and shakers sharing their insider secrets. The caliber of the folks attending was staggering…

This diverse group of incredible entrepreneurs included an NLP expert, a $20M software owner, 7+ figure internet marketers, an equity deal maker that works with Richard Branson, a consultant for Fortune 100 companies, a writer for Entrepreneur.com, marketing agency, and a handful of others.

It was a gathering of folks that are actively:

Amassing recurring revenue to staggering proportions

On the cutting edge of what is working right now in marketing

Automating and systematizing marketing channels to pull in clients effortlessly

Bringing in top level management to run the entire operation

And much more

So in today’s podcast episode, I recorded a unique episode for you where I debrief the top 7 Killer Insights that I learned from this high-level mastermind. I cover ideas like how to explore new ways to maximize profits and your personal freedom.

I share with you the key questions that one entrepreneur asks himself to be able to make 7 figures per year while only working 4 hours per week.

I’ll walk you through the key concepts that an entrepreneur used to launch and scale his business to $22MM per year in recurring revenue, in less than 2 years.
